Coach Boarman is entering his 9th year as head coach of the Fighting Irish baseball team, with ten years involved in the program. Coach Boarman is a graduate of Copley High School and Kent State University and has 12 years of coaching experience in varsity baseball, varsity football and at the college club baseball level. Coach Boarman currently teaches American History and Economics and Personal Finance at St. Vincent-St. Mary and is also the school's website manager as well as an Irish Athletes for Christ advisor. Coach Justin Corbett is entering his 9th year of coaching at STVM and brings nine years of coaching experience to the program. He has served as a freshman assistant, freshman head coach, and JV varsity head coach. He is graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. After high school, Coach Corbett attended Wabash Valley College and Malone University where he participated in baseball. He is a recent graduate of Malone University where he majored in History.
Coach Dan Costill is entering his 14th year of coaching at STVM and brings over 25 years of coaching experience to the program. He has served as a varsity assistant coach each year he has been with the Irish, focusing on catchers and hitters. Coach Costill is a 1966 graduate of Buchtel High School. After high school, he attended The University of Akron where he played varsity baseball for four years and was named MVP of the 1970 team. Coach Costill received a bachelors degree in Education with a Masters in Counseling/Guidance. After college, he was a teacher and a coach at Cuyahoga Falls High School and is now retired from teaching. Coach Costill is a member of the Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame. In 2010, he served as a mentor to student-athletes in the University of Akron's football program. Coach Costill is married to his wife Sandy.
Coach Dave Pence is entering his 1st year of coaching at STVM and brings 17 years of coaching at the high school level. Coach Pence played high school baseball at Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Ohio, where he had a 21-4 career record as a pitcher, and was named to the All-Ohio All-Star team his senior year. After graduating, he went on to play Division I baseball at Ohio University, where he was a four year letter winner. After college, he became a teacher and baseball coach at Lancaster High School for 10 years, leading the team to the Division I State Semi-Finals. After relocating to Northeast Ohio in 1994, he began coaching travel baseball and served as the assistant varsity baseball coach at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy for 7 years. Shortly after leaving CVCA, in 2007, he opened Hit & Run Baseball Academy.
Coach Ben Willis is entering his 7th year of coaching at STVM. He has been a varsity assistant for all seven years in the program, coaching various position groups. Coach Willis is a graduate of Coventry High School. After high school, Coach Willis continued his academic and baseball career at Lake Erie College where he was a four year member of the Storm baseball team.
Coach Don Coughlin VM84 is entering his 7th year of coaching at STVM and brings over twenty years of baseball coaching experience to the program. He has served as a junior varsity assistant and is also the head coach for the Ohio Bucs, a traveling summer baseball organization. Coach Coughlin is a 1984 graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary. After high school, he attended The University of Akron where he received a degree in Business and Organizational Communication. Coach Coughlin is married to his wife Beth and has two chidlren, Joe (VM12) and Allison (VM15).
Coach Eric Cameron is entering his 5th year of coaching at STVM. He has previously served as a freshman assistant and head coach. Coach Cameron is a graduate of Green High School where he played baseball. He continued his academic and baseball career at Hiram College. Coach Cameron graduated from Hiram in 2013.
